Dean Keeton would be proud
PURPOSE
Transform a house built in the 1940’s into a modern family home.
METHOD
Originally built by the late Dean Keeton, the home had been haphazardly expanded over the past 65 years. Based on the constraints of the lot, the decision was made to remove and replace a portion of the home. The original footprint remained almost the same and a 1,000 sq. ft., 2-story section of the home was kept, while completely updating all of the systems, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. The finishes were kept in the original style of 1940’s home, with the addition of a few modern twists.
RESULT
A light-filled family home, with spacious entertaining areas and modern conveniences.
